The Zoom Fly 6 may not be classified as a super shoe, but to someone who has never dipped their toes into that realm it sure feels like it. The fit is overall fantastic. The cushy step in will be the first thing you notice. My favorite part is the tongue and heel collar. As someone who has dealt with lots of heel slip, this shoe kept me secure and feeling good. From the first steps you can tell this shoe wants to go. I was afraid the plate would make a much larger difference that would make running feel odd, but man was I wrong. There’s a naturally propelled feel to every step, it just keeps going. The SR-02 paired with Zoom X is a great combo; nicely cushioned but not soft and wiggly like the Invincible 3. I can’t wait to take them on more runs.
