Flexibility: High
The more flexibility that you have in the midsole and outsole, the more you can move naturally. We laser-siped the outsole for better flexibility, whether you're jumping, planking or powering through plyometrics. We also rounded the big-toe side of the forefoot for better agility and quickness when making sudden movements.
Stability: High
The more supportive the shoe, the more stability it can give to your stance. A combination of tuned support and intentionally placed cushioning helps you feel secure with every step. We added more foam in the heel for improved stability when digging deep for another rep.
Cushioning: High
The more cushioning that you have underfoot, the more comfortable your workout can be. Cushioning helps soften impact as your feet hit the ground. Laser-siped foam in the forefoot and midsole offers comfort.
Breathable Upper

This is my fourth pair of Metcons. Not because the other pairs wore out, but because I love them that much. They are incredibly comfortable and deliver everything I look for in a shoe. As a football coach, I spend hours on a turf field, and without the right footwear, it usually takes a toll on my lower back, hips, and knees. Metcons are the only sneakers I can wear (when I'm not in cleats) that keep me feeling great throughout practice. They're also perfect for the gym and everyday wear. Hands down, they are my favorite sneakers. As long as Nike keeps this design, I'll continue to buy and wear Metcons without hesitation!
Leaning towards the 5 and will probably return.

I recently got the Nike Metcon 6 and compared to the Metcon 5, I’m a bit disappointed. The base of the 6 isn't as wide, which, in my opinion, affects the overall stability — something that was a real strength of the 5s. The 6 also feels tighter, more like a sleeve fit, which might work for some but personally, I preferred the fit and feel of the 5. That said, the Metcon 6 still looks great, but if I had to choose, I’m definitely more of a Metcon 5 fan.
