We are deep in the sunny, hot weather months here in Florida and need to dress light until September. For that reason, these shorts are truly incredible. The UV blocking material really works! I was noticeably less hot in my legs than I normally am when I wear running shorts. I usually wear 5” shorts, so these were quite a style contrast, but I feel like they are very much on-trend. I felt like Billie Eilish with the oversized jersey I wore with these shorts. These would be perfect for summer festivals or concerts where you know you’re going to face long periods of sun exposure. I know that’s where I’ll be wearing these next!

The pants are capable of doing the job. As an ACG line, they are water proof or water repellent and get the job done. I took the camping, which they stood up to the normal wear and tear of the day to day activities. However I wanted to take them hiking but as it was probably predicted, the bagginess of the shorts created problems when hiking off trail. The pant legs got caught up on branches and they were not very comfortable. For just day to day wear in the outdoors, these pants work, however for more strenuous activities, they are not well suited.

Very versatile shorts. I wore them on a hike and they held up great. Though they are a bit too oversized for my liking, I do find them to be comfortable. The price point is great given the fact that you can wear these shorts for just about any outdoor and/or indoor activity.
