Not regular laces

They are very cute but from the pictures you cannot tell they come with elastic laces, not regular tie laces (which I was looking for). And you can cut the stretchy laces out and put in normal ones - but not the top eyelet (it is pre-sewn in). Very frustrating- I just want my kid to tie their shoes and finding good, tie shoes is almost impossible these days. Not every shoe needs to be a slip-on. Kids need to know how to tie dang shoes.
