  • Feels good but to short

I received these pants for my honest review and I will start with the pros. I like the feel of them and I love anything with pockets. They are very comfortable for the wide leg or barrel leg so if you have thick thighs and want a loose fit this is the pants for sure. They are warm but won't overheat you which is a plus in Texas. The cons: Now I am not sure if they come in a tall (as I am 5'11") but these are definitely not ankle length. They are more like gauchos more than anything if your 5'10 and above. I also would say they do run a bit large. I usually wear a xl but got a large and I feel I could have gone down to a medium in these pants because they are like a oversized pant. Overall these would be my go to if they came in a tall but if they didn't I wouldn't recommend for anyone 5'10 and above unless your looking for a gaucho or capri type barrel leg.

The Nike Phoenix barrel leg pNt is definitlet a statement piece. The fit is extremely oversized- at 115 lbs I could wear them, and someone around 180 lbs could as well. I've included photos to show the fit on both. While the roomy cut is trendy and relaxed, the sizing feels a bjy excessive. The feel is where they lose some points for me: the seams running down. The middle of each leg can get uncomfortable leg. Especially if you're wearing them for a long stretch of time. The design itself is bold and modern. I really like the modern barrell leg silhouette, which gives them a unique edge compared to standard sweats. The fabric feels durable and structured, not thin or flimsy, though it's not the softest Nike material I've owned. What I liked most was the standout look-they can be styled.uo.or didn't and definitley.make an outfit feel more fashion-foward while still.l feeling so bit.cozy. What Id change is the seam.placememt and sizing accuracy, a softer inner finish would go a long way toward comfort. If you're going for am style and love.oversizds pieces, these are worth a look. Ifncomfort and fit accuracy matter most to you, they may fall short.

  • Barrel Pant

    Shelli - Sep 09, 2025

The good: the barrel pants definitely fits the aesthetic of a barrel pants and I would for sure call the style a true barrel cut. The material if soft and warm on the inside but smooth to the touch on the outside. Give the barrel cut, these are very easy to move in, and very non restricting. Given that- you could even easily pull them over a pair of shorts for after a workout. The not so good: the cropped length was a bit strange. I am on the short side, so this looked a tad strange on me, but would probably be better appearing on someone taller. I did not like how the seams (necessary to give the pant its barrel fit) felt against my skin. It was bit rough constantly brushing against me. Given the barrel cut, it is a lot of fabric and that was noticeable when moving around. Not necessarily in a bad way, but I was aware of it. And typically that’s not something that crosses my mind when wearing sweatpants. Overall I would not buy these, as I am short and they were just too wide and cropped at an odd length for me. However, someone taller might find them more appealing.
