Nike Jr. Mercurial Vapor 16 Pro LV8

My child recently started wearing the Nike Jr. Mercurial Vapor 16 Pro FG cleats & they have made significant difference on the soccer field. They fit really well, snug enough to feel secure but still comfortable since they are very lightweight which helps with speed and quick direction changes. There was no real break in time which made it easy to start using them right away. The traction is great & this pair of cleats has given my child more control and confidence during games. The design is clean & my son definitely stood out to other players. What we liked most is how comfortable they are while still helping improve performance. The only thing we would change is adding the option for half sizes to get an even better fit, but overall these cleats have been a great choice.

With tournaments starting we needed to get new cleats asap. Our nine year old plays 4-5 times a week and we wanted something she'd love. Her previous pair had an upper without laces. I initially loved the lack of laces as I never had to watch her re-tie their shoes in the middle of a game or see her kick off a soccer shoe on accident, but it does mean a looser feel to the boot. Now that she's older and more careful with their knots, having laces is better for her game. While it might appear that the laces are decorative as the holes are so tiny, these laces can be pulled looser or tighter so you can get a better fit. Other than wishing for slightly longer laces, she loves these - she plays on grass in the fall so they'll get a ton of use until she moves to indoor. She likes the way they feel when she's running and that she can quickly change direction. She also likes that the studs have a cool looking gradient from blue to black. She's wearing a size 3 in these and she's a taller nine year old, the first time she put them on was difficult and she thought they weren't going to fit, but since then she's used to the process of getting them on and secured and it hasn't been an issue.

My 8 year old son was excited to receive these cleats for the new season. He loved the look of them right out of the box. Initially he had a hard time getting his foot into the shoe because the unique stretch knit opening was new to him. Once he got the shoe on though this feature helps to ensure a tight fit. He is still learning to tie his shoes tight enough, so this knit opening ensures that the shoe won’t fly off with a big kick even if the laces aren’t as tight as they should be. We found the laces a little short but again, this only impacts kids that are still getting used to tying. Once they were on his feet he took off and loved the feel of them digging into the grass. These cleats will be awesome all season long!
