A the huge improvement from my previous 3 pair of Zoom Fly 5's. I enjoyed the lightness and cushioning of my 5's but was diagnosed this year with osteoarthritis. Nagging pain in my left hip, knee and shoulder socket that has made running difficult, always in some pain. I was losing hope this summer. But with my new Zoom Fly 6's, most of my hip and knee pain is hardly noticeable, starting with the very first run. Unbelievable improvement for an experienced runner. I should have bought these 6 months ago despite the cost. They are noticeably lighter, faster and have a softer foot strike, better push off.. I also like the all white color option. The neon colors out there are getting old and don't go with anything else. I wear orthotics and the 6's work for them just fine.

This is my very first pair of Nike. At 53, I've been running for 10 years now. It's hard to find a good running shoe in a size 15. I have 4 half marathons this fall and I needed a good shoe for 2 of my races. I've done some searching online and talked to a few shoe store owners about the Zoom Fly. It sounded like a good fit. I have gone out a few times in them. So far, so good. My first race is September 27. The next is October 5. Fingers crossed!!
Great feeling shoes with lots of breathability.

I'm only a week in so cant comment on longevity but so far I've completed an 8 mile outdoor run and two five mile indoor treadmill runs for breaking in purposes before my half marathon in 2.5 weeks. The zoomfly's upper fits perfect and feels like wearing a very breathable sock. Heel locks in nice and there is no foot sliding or movement creating hot spots. The outdoor run really showed the shoes capability and the benefit of the carbon fly plate. There is a perfect amount of cushion that doesn't feel squishy and the response is very agile and manageable to lessen fatigue on the calves and hamstrings. The treadmill runs lessen the springy feel and are almost to cushioned with the give of the machine but this is not what these shoes are designed for. Overall these shoes feel great on the move and I truly look forward to more miles in them with my half marathon and potential training for my 50k.
