Nike ZoomX, our most responsive foam, just got lighter. Running from heel to toe, it unlocks even more energy return than before with a slight midsole reduction, giving you a bouncy feel.
The full-length carbon fiber Flyplate sits at a higher angle compared to the plate in the Vaporfly 3. It combines with a lower heel-to-toe drop to give you a propulsive feel on race day.
We reduced the weight of the outsole by using a thinner rubber compared to the Vaporfly 3.
Engineered mesh helps reduce the weight of the shoe while providing a more consistent fit.

I like how the shoe feels good on my feet, but the rubber heel protection started to come off after 8 miles. Had to glue it back on so I could use the shoe. I now have 37 miles on the shoes and had to glue it on twice now.

Poor shoe construction heel fell apart on both pairs after 8 weeks of use. Did barely 100km in these running shoes

Maybe my favorite pair of running shoes. The fit is phenomenal, and the connected-to-ground feel really makes me enjoy my daily running. Some folks don't like the laces, but they are my favorite. I sometimes wish the shoe had slightly more stack, but only because it does tend to compress and lose bounce after awhile. I have 300 miles on my pair. I love them for easy runs and hill repeats and medium long runs. Towards the end of a 10+ miler I do start to feel like these may not be the best for a full marathon. I hope the next iteration is even better!
