Excellent running shoe. Runs true to size. Super lightweight and breathable, only thing I wish for the price they came with a racing backpack and the same laces as the AF3. Will 100% buy again as I did not receive these for free, nor was I asked to wrap ye this. Full Speed
The full-length carbon fiber Flyplate has a higher angle than the Vaporfly 3 and combines with a lower heel-to-toe drop to give you a propulsive feel on race day.
Lighter Foam
Nike ZoomX, our most responsive foam, just got lighter. Running from heel to toe, it unlocks even more energy return than before with a slight midsole reduction, giving you a bouncy, feathery feel.
Lighter Upper
Engineered mesh helps reduce the weight of the shoe while providing a more consistent fit. And we saved more weight by reducing the size of the heel and tongue.
Lighter Midsole and Outsole
Midsole bulges at the heel to help reduce weight on the inside of the foot to give you a more stable ride. We reduced the weight of the outsole by using a thinner rubber compared to the Vaporfly 3.

We made minor tweaks so you can enjoy major gains. We trimmed inessential weight in the upper, midsole and outsole without sacrificing performance.

Back to basics with some upgrades

When on my first run in it today. Felt a lot like the 2nd rendition of the shoe, which I loved. I couldn’t really get behind the 3s. But this feels like they took everything that people loved from both and mixed it into one. Perfect shoe!

Super fast shoe, very light, great return, not a lot of size difference between the 9 and 9.5, so kept the larger as the 9 felt like it was breaking me on the stride, love the upper but needs lace locking for a snug fit, sent it on the mile, felt great think this is going to be a great race shoe, for reference I'm 5.6 and 14+ stone running 6 min mile, 43,10k , 330 marathon, so no skinny minnie.
