Yes, these are good shorts yet the prior version with two side zippered pockets, the small rear zipper pocket, and the two small gel sized pockets in the front are the best trail short ever made. I have been running ultras since 2001 and these were hands down the best shorts I have ever worn. I know some of the pros want to be minimalist yet for the rest of us we can use more utility not to mention security with the zipper pockets. I also used them in the surf (zipper fronts can hold my credit card an ID safely in the water) and for casual wear which too made them the best.
