Nike Tech Shorts are fitted tight shorts. These should not be confused with compression shorts. They are tight yes, comfortable and are base layer. They can be worn alone, which is how I wear them at the gym. They don't ride up or fall down as they are fitted just not skin tight like compression. They feel good for weight training and running. No chafing and they do provide good support. They stayed dry and fitted throughout my 1st workout wearing them. I found them on sale and gave them a try. If you want longer(3/4 thigh) tights and don't mind not having any pockets then they are worth a try.

Worst bay layer in the business, not compression, not fitted... baggy arounf the thighs, just no! I ordered three of these, removed the tags washed then tried them on and ewe. I will never wear these please save your money.
