The hood is also well designed, helping block out the wind without feeling restrictive. The fabric is easy to clean and dries quickly, which is a huge plus for cold or rainy days. OMG I cannot emphasize enough how much of a fan I am of this puffy coat. Though I live somewhere relatively warm, it definitely gets quite chilly in the evenings, and I am SO glad I have this coat to keep me cozy and warm while ALSO looking so stylish. I feel like whether I am wearing it with leggings or jeans, the coat just works so perfectly with any outfit. I am definitely a crop top kinda girlie, and MAN does this look good with some high waisted jeans. I really appreciate the thickness and quality of the coat material, which feels like it is likely to hold up for seasons to come. The zipper is really smooth, and the pockets are deep enough to hold your phone and then some (a common oversight in the world of women's fashion, *sigh*). I think one of my favorite aspects about it is that I can easily wear a tank top underneath without feeling like the inside material is going to chafe, which is a real benefit when I need a coat to throw over something while heading to a party or event where I don't necessarily plan on wearing a ton of layers underneath, which I think is a common issue for me among thicker coats (they get sweaty, they rub against the skin, its uncomfy). In addition, the little hand/wrist covers on the sleeves mean that it gives an extra layer of warmth/protection from cold, and makes the coat feel even more cozy. I super appreciate how all these little details make this coat super useful and versatile without compromising on the overall fit and finish of the coat. It makes me feel hot while keeping me warm, and I feel like I get a ton of compliments on it because it just looks like a nice puffy (and I always look much warmer than all the other folks who try to 'stick it out' despite being freezing). I feel like this is the perfect balance of fit and function, and I super appreciate both the functional details and the aesthetic design which makes the coat reflect the high quality materials and design work put into it.
