Nike Sonic Fly

These shoes were worn to an all day Special Education Olympic event. The shoes were comfortable and felt like I was standing on a cloud all day. They were worn to run, jump, walk and play for 8+ hours. At the end of the day, I did not feel like I needed to kick my shoes off immediately walking in the door. The style of the shoe is current and the material makes them light and airy. My feet did not sweat in the heat all day! My shoe string was messed up, however, that is an easy fix and hardly noticeable to others.

My daughter loves these shoes! As someone who plays and runs nonstop, these were perfect. Every time she gets ready to head out the door, these are the shoes she reaches for. They are great for all the running and jumping during gym and recess. The material is lightweight and breathable which is great for all those sweaty activities. She mentioned that the shoes feel very springy when walking and running. These will be great as a daily runner for the rising temps in the upcoming spring and summer months. I haven’t noticed any visible wear and tear yet but we will see how they hold up with ongoing daily use. I will probably go ahead and pick these up in a few more colors.

My 5th grade daughter LOVES the Sonic Fly Big Running Shoes! She is on a club track team that often utilizes both the indoor and outdoor facilities at a local university. The ultra-light shoes work well on both surfaces and the concrete during warmups. She says that the soles keep her feet feeling ok after practice- which has not always been the case with other models and brands! My daughter also likes the ankle support that is provided. She has had trouble in the past with a shoe feeling “loose” while running long distances. Also, let’s be honest, appearance is equally as important as performance for my daughter. She will style the shoes with some baggy jeans and oversized sweatshirt for school. The color scheme (black, white, and gray) go with anything. Nice job Nike! Great versatile shoe for all purposes!
