Comfortable but too short

I just got these in the mail and they are too short. I am 5’5 with thick thighs and hips. These do not look/feel like 5” shorts, which is what I typically get for running. These fit like 3” shorts. They are very soft and comfortable for everyday but I would not recommend them for women with my body type to run in.
