The Prime 93 Basketball shoes overall are very good basketball shoes. The shoes do run a tad bit bigger than other Nike shoes but not enough to have to size down. They are very comfortable and have good cushion. The only problem I had with the insole is the lack of arch support but nothing that would make me not buy a matching pair for my kids. The shoes were heavier than I would personally like them to be for basketball shoes. With modern shoes weighing almost nothing these days I felt the are too heavy to be the primary choice over modern basketball shoes. I felt a bit sluggish playing in them at first but after a while I started getting used to them. The right shoe was also a bit more narrow than the left one which probably contributed to the shoe feeling a bit off while playing in them. The materials are very good and durable so the shoes still look like new even after a few pick up games. I really like the gold mesh as well as the oversized strap. Style wise it’s a great take on retro shoes with a new flair to make it its own. It’s a good basketball shoe and can also be used for casual wear. Very good shoe overall 9 out of 10

Strap Up
A midfoot strap, which Deion himself requested when his signature line launched back in 1993, provides extra lockdown and increases stability.
Cloaked and Contained
We reinforced the lightweight mesh with a 360-degree zonal cabling system for optimal containment. We disguised it all by a premium, lightweight drapery for a cloaked finishing touch.
Soften the Rise
An Air Zoom unit in the heel and forefoot supports landing and gives you a propulsive feeling. We paired them with a soft, springy foam to help ensure a pillowy feel.
Stay Refreshed
Dimensional mesh on the upper is durable and contained. Using lightweight materials, we striated the upper's venting to look like the veining of a shell, helping contain you during explosive movements. Zonal perforations in the sandwich mesh and ventilation on both sides provide breathability.
Steady and Sturdy
A top-loaded, strong plastic plate helps keep you steady and gives you more snap when taking off.

#teamnikeIconic Silhouette Meets Retro Classic
mcanedo92588 - Jul 23, 2025
As you'd expect, you always get greatness when picking up a new pair of LeBrons. It's only right that on his 21st season, they would team up to create something iconic that also inspired LeBron to achieve his own legendary status, the Prime 93 made famous by Deion Sanders. As a sneaker these are fantastic, great support, cushioning, and loads of grip. For me personally, I think they are a bit stiff and bulky if you plan on trying to rock them on court, but I'm getting older so all those little things affect me more now than they did back in my prime. Right out of the box the fit is snug, but in a good way, so you know your foot is locked in to place and isn't going anywhere. These will definitely break in nicely after several more long day sessions on or off the court. You can't say much about the design that hasn't already been said. If you look at this shoe and don't think it seems familiar, you haven't been around the block enough. The retro classic styling is a great touch, making the more modern version basketball ready apposed to the previous football aesthetic they used to have. The silhouette still holds the test of time in my opinion, and it isn't going anywhere any time soon. The materials and construction are top notch as usual when it comes to these signature line Nike basketball shoes, definitely on par with what you'd expect from a high end sneaker. The contrasting color blocking and use of suede and leather really set these off in hand an on foot. Sturdy and breathable with the mesh side panels as well. You can't go wrong with the classic black and white with a little pop of red, but I think the small touch of gold on them works well to add a subtle flare to the design. I'm a sucker for retro and nostalgia, so I'd say my favorite part of the sneaker is just keeping the legacy of Deion and the original Diamond Turf alive. I love when a shoe has a story or meaning behind it, because it's always fun to drop some knowledge on another sneakerhead when they ask about your kicks. The only thing I would change about these is if they found a way to make them a little less bulky feeling while still keeping the same sturdiness and durability overall, other than that these are an instant hit.

#teamnikeFun Remake For the Elder Millennial
JuniorCor84 - Jul 19, 2025
Got these because I was 9 when the originals released and always wanted them. Prime was so fun to watch and seeing these on the astroturf fields was so cool. I really enjoy these remakes. I don't play basketball regularly so I can't attest to how they are on the court but the grip and comfort are there. They do seem a bit heavy for playing in but I could see them being used. The style is a great throwback while adding modern features. They feel very sturdy and made of good materials. The did seem to run a little small to me. I'm a 9.5EE but with Nike just size up to 10 since they don't offer many wide selections. For a 10 these felt closer to a 9.5 in length and definitely a D in width. Overall they are a fun shoe for going out and about in.
