Comfortable, but lacks grip

I really wanted to like these. I play indoor volleyball about once a week, and at first I assumed the traction issues were just part of the break-in period. Since these are my first real court shoes, I thought it might be normal at first. After a few weeks of consistent play, though, the grip never really improved. The shoes are comfortable and feel supportive, and when I’m not slipping, I actually think they’re solid. Unfortunately, the lack of grip has been a real letdown. I’ve worn them strictly indoors on regularly cleaned courts and still find myself slipping during quick cuts and direction changes, which isn’t something I expected from a court shoe. At this point I’m outside the return window, which is frustrating, because I was holding out hope that the grip would get better and it hasn’t. Traction is one of the main reasons I bought them in the first place, and if it wasn’t such a big issue, I’d probably like these a lot more.
