Bought these thinking they were an upgrade from the All Stars. They differ too much from the all stars; don’t fit the same way. Kind of just wished I had simply bought the standard All Stars.

Better than the classic All Stars

Better than the classic All Stars I usually get. They have better support and are more comfortable and I like the slightly off-white look. They do run a bit big. I'm usually a size 10 so I got these in a 9.5 and they are still a bit too large. Good shoes!
Cool but squeaky

First off, I love how they look, as I have for more than 50 years. I am perplexed, however, by the small differences in these and my others . . . I like the off-white laces, toe cap and trim, but the toe cap is really shiny compared to my last black ones. And the proportions are different. I like that these do not have a tongue keeper like my last ones did. The oddest thing that they squeak at the heel when I walk. Maybe it's the socks, but I've tried other socks and they all seem to squeak the same in these shoes. Do everyone's squeak and I just didn't notice before? My coworkers enjoy it, and it won't stop me wearing them, but I am curious.
