The 70’s are light years ahead of the regular chucks. The run much bigger, I have wide feet and usually wear a 11.5. I opted for the wide and went down a whole size to 10.5. I only wish they made more colors in the wide, love these shoes

I get lots of comments on how cool the Chuck 70’s are! I have both black and blue ones. The only negative there might be is the black fades in the hot Florida sun as I wear them outdoors every day. You only notice the fading when you get a new pair which I did however some may look at the worn look as being even cooler. Other than that the black lows are perfect fit and comfortable. My blue ones have an abrasion point on one of the tongues which I hope will go away as they break in and get worn
