  • Easy on & off

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hi, bought the shinguards a month ago for my six-year-old to use for his soccer practices and games and he can put them on and take them off himself. I like the stirrup effect so they’re not sliding all around as opposed to the loose shinguards that just use the pressure of the sock to stay on I like this version a lot better good job.

  • Nice Guard for the Young Athlete

    Rochelle

These are decent shin guards. There is minimal bulk on the foot straps. Also, no designated right/left which has its pros and cons. (A pro being that the younger athlete doesn't get them mixed up.) The lower elastic part of the guard is a little long relative to the length of the actual plate IMO, and there is no ankle padding on these. The elastic strap around the ankle is abrasive - at least according to a younger child. Overall, I would recommend them for a young athlete; however, for an older child, where the play is more aggressive, I'd be looking for the ankle padding.
