This pair Nike Air Monarch Work Shoos (Extra Wide) is the best conformable shoes on the market. I ordered them from the Nike company because I could not able to locate my size shoes in the stores. Shoes have excellent wearing durability. I am wearing Nike Air Monarch over 20 years without any noticeable problems and the prices for this shoes is good.

The shoe itself is well made. However, since the day I bought the shoes over a year ago, they squeaked when I walk on any surface. Squeaking coming from lower portion of shoe. Recently they squeaked every time I landed while jump roping. I finally decided to buy a different shoe.

I like the style, fit, function, but the squeaking is too much. I bought these originally at a F footwear store. Wore in the house for two days to break them in a bit and all good. Went for a walk, about two miles. All good until about three quarters in. The left squeaked. I don't mean a little. It was like a family of mice. The right did just a little. I contacted the F footwear store and they said tough, maybe Nike can help you. And Nike did. I had to ship it to Nike, they reviewed and said yep, defective. Gave me a gift card to buy new ones on the site. Paid the tax and got the shoes. Wore in the house for a while and then went on walk. Both shoes squeak. Not a family of mice, but like one or two mice in each shoe. I use them in a work out place that plays loud music so I don't hear them until I leave. I'm already in for tax on the first, shipping the first back, and tax on the second. Don't think I want to continue to pay extra for the slight chance I get ones that don't squeak (if any do not). I sure hope they don't squeak louder than the loud music eventually. Otherwise, very good shoes. I just don't know how everyone doesn't have squeaks since both of my pairs squeak. Never got wet. No rain or puddles at any time. Doesn't seem like a bug, but a feature of these shoes. Unfortunate. All of my other Nike shoes have not had this problem. So for all, Nike will help, which I really appreciate, but this shoe style has problems. Don't ignore the reviews. Buy other styles if you want Nike.
