How This Was Made

The recycled polyester used in Nike products begins as recycled plastic bottles, which are cleaned, shredded into flakes and converted into pellets. From there, the pellets are spun into new, high-quality yarn used in our products, delivering peak performance with a lower impact on the environment.
In addition to reducing waste, recycled polyester reduces carbon emissions by up to 30% compared to virgin polyester. Nike diverts an average of 1 billion plastic bottles annually from landfills and waterways.

Pretty cool

First I want to say that I love the aesthetic of these gloves! I bought them mainly to wear while running. The palm side material allows you to use your phone if needed without having to take them off. They are pretty thin (hence lightweight in the description), but not everyone needs a heavy glove. I wore them for the very first time walking on New Year’s Day and upon taking them off I noticed a small hole already formed due to loose thread between the thumb and index fingers. That’s very disappointing for the first wear, I expect better quality especially from the ACG line. Overall, I like them, I just wish they would last a while for the money being spent.
