How This Was Made

The recycled polyester used in Nike products begins as recycled plastic bottles, which are cleaned, shredded into flakes and converted into pellets. From there, the pellets are spun into new, high-quality yarn used in our products, delivering peak performance with a lower impact on the environment.
In addition to reducing waste, recycled polyester reduces carbon emissions by up to 30% compared to virgin polyester. Nike diverts an average of 1 billion plastic bottles annually from landfills and waterways.

I love these pants! They feel lighter than some shorts yet provide coverage and protection for your entire leg. They are as sporty and functional as they are comfortable. I’ve worn them in the Northeast and in Florida and they were equally comfortable in those different climates. I will have to buy more in different colors!

The fit of these pants is one of the first things I noticed, and it’s excellent for both running and everyday wear. They have a tapered athletic fit that feels streamlined without being restrictive.
