This jacket is pretty amazing. I love that it feels light but also helps keep you warm on cooler days/nights. On days where it starts off at 38 degrees and gets to the mid 60s, it is breathable and the inner layer makes it so I didn’t get too hot. The fit was great! It is a little shorter than what I would typically wear but that is the style and it worked out wonderfully. I typically wore this for everyday use and also chasing my kids during regular play or playing soccer.
I do wish the pockets had a zipper but they were pretty deep and I didn’t lose anything they I put in them.
I get very hot easily, so I ended up waiting to try this jacket out on cooler days (since we had a recent heat wave in October where temps were in the upper 80s/low 90s) and took it off once it hit about 62 because I was sitting in the direct sun. The jacket did a great job cutting the wind and keeping me warm. I wasn’t sweating in the low to mid 60s today so the jacket did its job at warming me up to the point that I didn’t need the jacket anymore (probably due to being in the direct sun) and the breathability of the jacket kept me comfortable. I do need to state that I think others would have left the jacket on and would’ve been very happy with it even at the temps I felt I no longer needed it for.
