Full Speed
The full-length carbon fiber Flyplate has a higher angle than the Vaporfly 3 and combines with a lower heel-to-toe drop to give you a propulsive feel on race day.
Lighter Foam
Nike ZoomX, our most responsive foam, just got lighter. Running from heel to toe, it unlocks even more energy return than before thanks to a slight midsole reduction, giving you a bouncy, feathery feel.
Less Weight
Engineered mesh on the upper offers improved lightweight comfort while supplying a more consistent fit. We reduced the size of the heel and tongue to save even more weight.
Lighter Feel
The midsole bulge at the heel helps reduce weight on the inside of the foot and give you a more stable ride. We also used a thinner rubber compared to the Vaporfly 3 to reduce outsole weight without sacrificing reliability.

We took a race car approach when updating the Vaporfly 4, making minor tweaks so you can enjoy major gains. We trimmed weight in the upper, midsole and outsole without sacrificing performance.
