Great look and full of comfort!! When my daughter took these out of the box for the first time, she absolutely loved them! She loved the design and immediately tried them on. They fit true to size and the best part is they are slip on! Her and I both love that we don’t have to worry about the shoe becoming untied throughout the day. This style shoe is definitely making a come back and we are here for it! The shoe feels well built with quality materials. After wearing them all day, my daughter told me how comfortable the shoe is and said they felt so good on her feet! The only negative for me is that there is white mesh incorporated into the shoe. White mesh can be tough to keep clean on a kids shoe. The mesh looks great but isn’t the most functional on a kids shoe in my opinion. Outside of that, my daughter and I both love this shoe and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a stylish, comfortable shoe!

The Nike V5 Runner offers a great fit for younger kids. At size 2.5Y, the shoe fits my son perfectly and provides plenty of comfort, thanks to its generous cushioning. However, I do think this age group should be transitioning to shoes with laces. Slip-ons might be convenient, but they miss the opportunity to help kids develop independence and motor skills with shoelacing. From a design standpoint, the shoe feels a bit dated. It reminds me of something a retired runner might wear—not exactly the modern, youthful vibe I was hoping for. That said, my son was all in. He wears them everywhere-from outdoor play to golf practice—and genuinely enjoys how comfortable they are. The color combination is a highlight. The mix of white, silver, and blue feels fresh and clean, but it’s not exactly kid-proof. A darker colorway might have helped mask the inevitable wear and tear that comes with active use. I wouldn’t buy this particular style again, but I’m happy my son is happy. His comfort and enthusiasm gave the shoe some extra points in my book, even if the style didn’t quite land for me.

Love these for my 4 year old, she never complains on our walks anymore. BUT within a week the thread on the Nike logo completely came undone.
