Band mystery.

The shoe looks great. However, the recommendation to buy a half-size larger is accurate. the toe narrows quite a bit for my fit. The one mystery is how the tightening band is supposed to work. I can't figure out how it is to be adjusted (if it is to be adjusted.) When the band is brought across the velcro sections don't match. Seems useless.
