The winterized Pegasus Trail 5 provides wet-weather protection for trail running. A waterproof GORE-TEX upper, an all-terrain outsole and reflective details help you comfortably take on the elements. With a ReactX foam midsole, it gives you responsive cushioning for an energized ride. This special design takes you across rocky paths and above the blue waters to the Two Bays Trail in Australia, as part of our ongoing #IYKYK series.

Behind the Design

The earthy textures and speckled midsole represent the Two Bays Trail's tough terrain. Red arrows on the tongue tops, sockliners and upper are inspired by the iconic arrow signs with handwritten numbers used throughout the trail. Two Bays is identified by a circular symbol displaying a blue superb fairywren, which can be seen both on the signage along the route and on the sockliners. Deep and bright blues symbolize the start and finish of the 28K bay-to-bay stretch, where the ocean meets the sky.

A waterproof GORE-TEX upper and 3-D print toe cap help keep water out so your feet stay dry

ATC Outsole

Nike Trail ATC outsole is made with an all-terrain compound that’s great even in wet weather.

I’ve had the 3, 4, 4 Gortex and now these . Only one outing so far but feel the best yet . Seems to have corrected the lack of support / cushioning the 4 gortex lacked . Similar to sole feel to the 4 non gortex.Hopefully the lugs last longer than the 4 . Only complaint about the 4 was the outsoles wore out quickly if used on pavement. Feels studied than previous models .

i love these but i had to order a FULL size up! not a half size as recommended! and even then they're snug, but a bit loose in the heel. that being said, i love these. i live in new england and these are great for harsh wet cold terrain.
