Basketball isn’t slowing down. The tempo, the pace, the players keep pushing the speed barrier to another dimension. Keep your game on go in the G.T. Cut 4. From full-length springy Air Zoom Strobel to a feathery ZoomX drop-in midsole to the cutting-edge upper, this mold-breaker combines our best basketball technologies for the alpha space makers who refuse to settle for anything but winning.

Bouncy Steps

Your foot sits on top of a full-length, drop-in ZoomX 3.0 foam midsole, our lightest and most responsive foam. It gives you bounce with every stride and step.

Unreal Acceleration

Beneath the ZoomX midsole sits full-length Air Zoom Strobel cushioning that can help adds an unreal amount of acceleration and court feel to your game. An RBR-X stabilizer fuses a lightweight fabric into the forefoot of the ZoomX drop-in, which functions as a stabilizer to help you cut quicker. Supporting the trio of super power technologies is a Cushlon carrier that offers stability.

Court Feel

The under-the-hood trifecta offers our optimal responsiveness with the kind of court feel that players love both on and off the ball. It’s low, light and crazy agile.

Futuristic Upper

The sleek exoskeleton upper sports a futuristic, yet attested aesthetic that’s both rooted in Nike Basketball lore and asking to push the limits of the game. The pinky toe side of the upper sports synthetic material while the big toe side is made of a lightweight textile.

Accelerate and Decelerate

A generative traction outsole is specifically designed with acceleration and deceleration in mind when cutting and changing directions.

Lock In

A 3D molded collar offers optimal heel lockdown.

these were unexpected! the silver detail with the texture of the satin black on the top makes it feel like a very elegant shoe. Like I should be shooting 3's in a tux. Grip is great, they run a little bit narrow but I still enjoyed wearing them.

  • Oh baby. This is what basketball luxury feels like.

    Steve P

I am a 41 year old male that plays pick-up basketball approximately 2-3 times a week. Although the games are not super serious, we play hard enough that a quality shoe is a necessity. This means I typically spend in the $100-$130 range for a nicer pair. I have always liked the Zion line but recently decided to branch out. The G.T. Cut 4 shoe is visually stunning, almost like a work of art. The use of differing materials gives it a bold, futuristic look that is unmatched in the industry (I refuse to let them touch anything but the gym floor in an effort to keep them looking nice a little longer!). More importantly, it is an extremely comfortable and supportive shoe. This is especially critical for a guy that has always struggled with sprained ankles. The G.T. Cut 4 is also very bouncy. I’m sure a younger version of me would appreciate the extra vertical but I will have to settle for layups. My one (and only) minor complaint involves putting the shoes on. Maybe it is just me, but I never seem to slide in without the tongue getting twisted near middle of the top of my foot. The annoyance is quickly fixed, but I feel like it happens every single time. Maybe I need a shoehorn, ha! Overall, this is a great show that has spoiled me. I never dreamed of hooping in a shoe at this price range, but it is so worth it. Pure basketball luxury!

    Cut Game

As a hooper and a legit sneakerhead, I’ve gone through a lot of basketball shoes over the years, but the Nike Get Cut from Nike is one of those pairs that instantly earns a permanent spot in the rotation. Fit & Feel Right out of the box, the fit feels dialed in. The shoe hugs your foot in all the right places without feeling restrictive. Once you lace them up, you get that locked-in, game-ready feel that guards and quick players really appreciate. The cushioning strikes a perfect balance—it’s responsive and low to the ground, so you feel quick and explosive, but there’s still enough impact protection for hard cuts, drives, and landing after rebounds. Design The design is straight fire. You can tell this shoe was built for players who rely on change of direction and quick movements. The lines and shape of the shoe look fast even when you’re standing still. It has that modern Nike basketball aesthetic—clean, aggressive, and performance-driven. On court, they definitely turn heads. Fabric & Materials The upper materials feel lightweight but durable. The mesh and layered construction give great breathability during long runs, and the materials mold to your foot after a few sessions. Nothing feels cheap—everything feels engineered for performance. You can hoop for hours without feeling weighed down. What I Loved Most The traction is elite. When you’re making quick crossovers, step-backs, or hard defensive slides, the grip just bites the floor. It really lives up to the “Get Cut” name because the shoe is built for sharp movements and fast transitions. For players who rely on agility and speed, this shoe feels like an extension of your game. What I’d Change Honestly, there’s not much I’d tweak. If anything, a couple more colorway options with some bold designs would be dope for sneaker collectors like me. Final Verdict If you’re a guard, wing, or any player who thrives on quickness and sharp cuts, the Nike Get Cut is a must-have. It’s lightweight, responsive, and built for real hoopers—not just casual wear. Whether you’re in a competitive run or a serious game, these shoes deliver. Straight up: performance, style, and traction all in one package. Definitely a five-star hoop shoe.
