Great shoes, they’re comfortable, great traction, and the don’t pick up dust easily. The took a couple hoop sessions to break in but after that they were great.

The standout feature here is the cushioning. The full-length ZoomX setup gives the shoe a noticeably responsive feel, providing solid impact protection while still keeping the ride lightweight and bouncy. Every step feels energized, which makes it great for guards or players who are constantly attacking off the dribble. The cushioning absorbs landings well while still keeping you low enough to the court for quick reactions. Traction is another strong point. The multi-directional outsole pattern bites the floor extremely well, especially on indoor courts. It allows you to stop on a dime, explode into cuts, and confidently change direction without hesitation. For players who rely on quick footwork and sharp movements, the grip definitely holds up during game speed play. The fit is secure and comfortable overall. Once laced up, the shoe feels snug through the midfoot with good lockdown, which helps keep you stable during aggressive movements. It is slightly stiff on the first time wearing, but I found the shoe to break in very quickly. The upper materials are lightweight but not the most breathable. During longer runs your feet can warm up a bit, but the trade-off is a solid structure that helps maintain a consistent fit on the court. Overall, the GT Cut is a strong performance basketball shoe with excellent cushioning, reliable traction, and a secure fit.
