Nike Field General

Immediately out of the box I couldn’t believe how sharp these look… ordered the Black/White combo and man do they pop! Classic retro Nike look and they are not lacking on comfort. Love how versatile these are too, I've worn them with Jeans, shorts, sweats, and received many compliments. Fit is true to size and really happy with the toe box… I’m a bigger guy and always like some extra space. Do yourself a favor and give these a run!

I pull them on every time I need to jump out to the store. Casual enough to pop on with anything, I find myself looking for them when I need to run just about any errand or head out for a bite. Low profile, but not quite as slim as the traditional waffle racers, these are nicer mix of less synthetic materials with an athletic lean, and they are comfortable enough to wear all day. Jeans, shorts, running pants, they pair with them all with ease. I love that their shape makes my size 14 pair look proportional and not goofy. After wearing them around almost constantly for weeks, they still look brand new.

The Nike Field General is a great everyday shoe, one you can just throw on and run some errands without even thinking about it. The comfort was decent, nothing extra extraordinary and not the worst I’ve felt. With a better insole this shoe would be a top tier for everyday shoes. The fit was true to size. Usually wear a 11/11.5 and these fit exactly as they should. Materials were good and breathable. The only gripe I would have would be the suede panels. The panels seem to fade rather quickly even with only a week of wear. I wore the Nike Field General to run my daily errands and even to a night out for dinner and drinks. I got a few compliments though out the night. I feet felt fine even after being on them all day and night. The next morning I was expecting my feet to feel sore or a little discomfort but to my surprise they felt normal. I would buy another pair of Nike Field General but probably switch out the insole after about a month or so.
