Gets the job done, but fit and style could be better

While I liked this shirt, it is not without its flaws. While it gets the job done (protecting you from the sun while out on beach or pool day), the fit and style could be better. Nevertheless, let’s start with the positive. The shirt definitely delivers the UV protection it advertises. I tried it under a radiant Florida sun, from noon to late afternoon, and I did not get any skin irritation or sun burns. Of course, you would still need to wear sunscreen on uncovered skin. Similarly, the fabric does dry pretty fast; hence, you will not be dripping water after you go a swim with the shirt one. Now, for the negatives, the fit runs big. This would not be much of a problem if this wasn’t swimwear. I would prefer the shirt to be fitted so that it would not drag in the water. It makes moving in the water slightly more difficult. This might not be an issue if the fit was a bit tighter. Additionally, the style is somewhat bland. While I do understand this is just a swim shirt, the cut and loose fit make it seem unstylish. Again, a tighter fit could fix this problem. Thus, if you want a tight fit, maybe order a size down. That said, I do recommend trying it on before deciding. In conclusion, it gets the job done, it could just look and feel better.
