The plate is stiff in the heel and midfoot for stability. It's also responsive in the forefoot to help propel you forward.

Purchased my son the cleats they are comfortable and fit nice the only complaint I have is the “color changing”. The only part of the shoe that’s is changing is the toe box so now it looks horrible! The whole shoe is blk then he has white toes. My son is a lineman

FINALLY - a wide Nike cleat! My son is typically in a competitors wide and was super excited when he tried these on. He’s a 11.5W naturally and the 12s fit him very comfortably. He a OLB and loves the softness of the leather for easy break-in and added ankle support with the sock. Nike make these a main stay and bring out in white!
