  • Surprisingly and ‘quietly’ impressive

    Kartik731829271 - Apr 01, 2024

Very comfortable slip on trainer, great for wide feet and looks durable. Early days but I heard a lot of negatives about squeaking but can barely hear anything of the sort. Very pleased so far and will be my daily go to footwear for all occasions. If you have wide feet and wants something comparable to air max 90s then these are the ones to go for.

  • Maybe I expected too much from Nike?

    Edit Northern - Mar 25, 2024

Shoe was great for being on my feet all day, which I expected from Nike. But after almost a year, the sole became unglued on the left shoe in the front and rear. The right shoe is perfectly fine. Very squeaky, can hear me coming a mile away. These were my work shoes (teacher), I wore these 2-3 times a week, inside and out even in winter (outdoor duty). I normally buy Marks Dakota brand, but after Covid, couldn't find size 14 anywhere. Based on my experience with these, returning to the Dakota shoe for work.

  • Sounds like a duck when walking

    Bruce - Mar 17, 2024

The good - very stylish and comfortable, The bad squeaks when you walk. This is my 3rd pair of this style. They use to be very good but the last two pair sound like a quacking duck. They never use to be like this so they must have changed something in production. I tried to leave a video but Nike wouldn't let me. Just google or search youtube videos for Nike Air Monarch squeak and you will see numerous videos. After a lot of research and trial and error I have reduced the noise somewhat.
