Northwest Tested, Hawaii Inspired

This product was designed and tested in Oregon, USA. For inspiration, ACG went to the big island of Hawaii, where black sands and big waves make the area ripe for adventure. The island’s volcanic landscape and warm climate served as inspiration for the collection’s look and purpose.

Big Island Fire

The island of Hawaii is filled with highly volatile volcanoes, spitting lava into the air which turns in a cylindrical or oval shape when it hits the ground. This Cinder Cone collection takes its name from those shapes, with a tag describing the natural event woven inside the jacket.

Ready for Wind and Rain

Woven fabric provides lightweight coverage ideal for warm weather months. The jacket is water-repellant and wind-resistant, helping you continue on your journey in less than ideal conditions.

How This Was Made

The recycled nylon in Nike products begins as a variety of materials, including recycled carpet and used fish nets. The nylon is cleaned, sorted, and converted into flakes before undergoing chemical or mechanical recycling processes to create new, recycled nylon yarns.
Garments that use materials made from recycled nylon reduce carbon emissions by up to 50% compared to virgin nylon.

Love it! It's actually waterproof- was pleasantly surprised. The pics don't show- it packs up in a little pocket to be very VERY tiny with the cutest little carabiner clip- think somewhere between half a sandwich and a credit card size. Zip pockets are awesome too. I bring this on bike rides and honestly you could probably fit it in a running tights pocket on a long run. Love the fit, not overly tailored, but not a bag, it's perfect. Very cool to see this kind of product in the women's line, hoping it sticks around for a while.
