The forefoot is more flexible because we shrank the Air Zoom unit and placed it where your foot feels the most impact. You still get responsive cushioning at the highest push-off point of your forefoot, but now there’s more flex.
The outsole is made with a rubber compound that’s lighter than Vapors of the past. It allows you to decelerate, plant and back into position without feeling like you’re rounding off your cuts.
We kept the same midsole foam and outsole pattern you loved on the Vapor 2 and improved the secure feel around the midfoot and heel for shaper cuts.
A full midfoot fit band helps you pull the laces tighter to enhance the fit and enable fast cuts.

My daughter loves this model. she used to wear adidas ubersonic and says this nike is much more comfortable. some of the nike tennis shoes can be quite narrow but this one is a little wider than normal nike models and has comfortable inner soles.

Beautiful shoe. Very comfortable. 4 stars because they do run big and I didn’t know that before buying them. Normally 7.5 in Nike and definitely should have ordered size 7. So frustrating that Nike just can’t get it closer to the true sizes.
