These are fantastic; big upgrade on the previous trail running tight shorts. The 4” length is flattering but functional and not as “squeezy” at the hem as last season’s 6” version. I can also wear my normal size without my waist being completely constricted, all while being able to stuff the waist and thigh pockets full and having ZERO bounce. The rear zip pocket fits a small flask or my phone, leaving all the other pockets open for gels and hydration refill packets. The fabric is light and sturdy and handles long, hot (3hrs, 85-90deg heat) runs really well. I will be using they for any marathon or ultra run where storage is a priority. More colors would be great but you can’t go wrong with black!
