SFB Origins

The SFB collection honors Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman and his WWII service. Upon his return, he became the head track and field coach at his alma mater, the University of Oregon, where he began creating high-performance footwear for his athletes. Excellent Boots

These are the most comfortable of all the SFB series of boots. And I’ve worn them all. These are a true size 12 boot, if you wear size 12 anyway. It has so far been a dry summer, so I’m not sure how they will hold up in the rain. It takes a day of just walking in them to break them in, but that is all. I was running in them the next day. I think the Ukiah is the best SFB boot yet.
