Nike Zoom Rival XC 6

My daughter has 2 pairs of the Zoom Rival XC 6 spikes and she absolutely loves them. There are 2 different styles and types of spikes included. I struggled to find a pair of XC shoes that my daughter. Unlike track & field shoes most shoe companies do not produce cross country specific shoes for younger athletes. Shout out to Nike for making these!!! She was using a different brand of trail shoes prior to these. Those trail shoes cost her a PR and placement in her regional XC race. With the weight of the spikes included these shoes are 50 grams per shoe lighter than the trail shoes my daughter was using. The Rival XC 6 shoes are high quality, lightweight, high performance and for the price these are an absolute steal. For older elite athletes I’d recommend looking into the pricier elite Nike XC spike models. But for athletes newer to the sport or also younger athletes these are an incredible value. We are a blue collar family here, so we use these as race specific shoes, not daily training shoes. If you use them for race day events and don’t use them daily for practice I think you’ll be beyond pleased with them. P.S. - Use them once or twice to break them in and have a feel for how they will feel to race in before using on race day. Clean the mud off between uses. You’ll easily get a season if not a couple out of a pair. Also, use the size chart when ordering. I ordered and had to return the first order due to sizing. Returns through the Nike website and UPS could not have been easier.

My son is a freshman, new to running and didn't want to spend too much on a pair of shoes he would only be able to wear a handful of times. He PR'd the first time he wore them! They provide great traction and have held up well.

These spikes are super light. I feel like I’m cheating in my races.
