I love the shoes.I really do. They are comfy and soft. This is perfect for standing and running activities.But the quality is very poor. They are starting to fall apart.

The only thing that matters is performance. No real gym rat cares about the noise. Put your headphones or earbuds in and enjoy your workout in comfort. No one at the gym matters more than your physical health.
