- The recycled polyester used in Nike products begins as recycled plastic bottles, which are cleaned, shredded into flakes and converted into pellets. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I struggle to find running shorts that don’t roll up in the middle while I’m moving, but the built in bike shorts on these keeps the coverage in place and they’re so cute! I love the phone pocket on the bike shorts as well. It’s a bit annoying to lift the outer short to get to it, but probably better for protection.
