Raced in the first version of the Ultrafly's and thought these would have been an improvement to them. I'll give it to Nike that these are a super snappy shoe with a great upper fit. The Vibram outsole is grippy as well -- no issues there. The main issue I'm having with them is the midsole is even stiffer than the first version! I've gotten 30 miles in the shoes so far and am hoping that it's…

Poorly Designed for long distance
Fascinating how a long distance trail shoe has no room for expanding with your feet. considering the R&F budget. lets say your 40 miles in to a 100 mile race. how can these adapt to your feet like most other shoes. poor design.

Love them
Amazing shoe on trail. It doesn't feel heavy and has a great solid platform to help with stability.

Super but narrow
I bought these with high expectations. Great shoe with a quality feel to them. Roomy toe box but unfortunately they are very tight in the mid-foot, avoid if you have normal to wide feet.

Basically bin all your legacy trail shoes
Forward propelling with solid grip that’s fine on tarmac as blades are short. Wide front footprint like original invincible and original vaporfly rear. Great uphill. Basically bin all your legacy trail shoes.

Poor Quality
Upper made of low quality rubber. Zoomx extremely soft offer little cushion and stability.

Top tier trail shoe
Incredible trail shoe from Nike…well balanced shoe with a great lockdown. The zoomx is much softer than its predecessor but still offers the connection a trial runner needs from foot to ground. The sole is quite aggressive but you don’t feel it running on tarmac or light trail which is really important to me. I took just under a minute a mile of my pb for a coastal run wearing this shoe, it blew me away. The colour is a lot brighter than the pic and really is an eye catching wear…11/10.

Solves My Issues with the Original ACG Mountainfly
I'm not a trail runner. I will not be running in these. As a casual wearer, I love these shoes because they solve all of my issues with the Original ACG Mountainfly.
First, the Ultrafly Trail dispenses with the rubber toe cap of the Mountainfly, which results in way more toe freedom in exchange for reduced protection. Second, the Ultrafly Trail has a slightly wider toe box than the…
