Nike Metcon 10 AMP

$165

Power your cross-training potential with the Metcon 10. It optimizes stability for your heavier lifts with an ultra-strong Hyperlift plate and levels up mobility with responsive ReactX foam. With increased energy return and a lighter weight than the Metcon 9, it helps you conquer any movement your workout demands.

Stable for Your Strength

An ultra-strong Hyperlift plate under your heel (where you need it most) optimizes stability for heavy lifts—like squats, dead lifts and cleans—without compromising the ride. A wider toe box compared to the Metcon 9 lets your toes extend outward and helps you optimize your power through your whole foot.

More Mobility

We updated the midsole with lightweight ReactX foam to increase energy return. It combines with flex grooves on the outsole to give you flexible, responsive cushioning when doing high-intensity exercises like box jumps and quick sprints.

Grip and Grit

A tough, sticky texture strategically placed on the midfoot and toe—high wear-and-tear areas—delivers game-changing grip and durability. A new traction pattern provides a flat, sticky surface for lifting on even the sweatiest of surfaces.

Lock In

The midfoot band helps secure your foot onto the footbed when you pull on the laces. Combined with a sturdy heel cup and lace tuck, it allows you to focus on your form and not shifting or slipping.

More Benefits

  • Open-holed engineered mesh provides breathability.
  • Midsole rubber wrap is more tuned, lighter and less bulky than the Metcon 9.
  • Tough plastic heel clip provides durability for handstand push-ups.

  • Nike Metcon 10 - White/Black-Volt

    DR - Aug 02, 2025

The Metcon 10 is a solid choice for anyone looking for a dedicated lifting or cross-training shoe. The toe box is wide enough that my foot never felt cramped, and the overall support under load, especially during heavy lifts, was exactly what I was hoping for. Two standout features for me were the grip and breathability. The outsole held strong across a variety of surfaces, and the upper kept things cool even during intense sessions. The shoe is definitely more flexible than past versions, which makes it great for circuit-style training, but I still wouldn’t use it for anything more than a short run. Looks-wise, they’re great. Clean enough to wear casually, but built for for training. Overall, the Metcon 10 delivers where it counts. Definitely worth checking out if you train hard and need a shoe that can keep up.

I typically use the Metcon 5 for use in the gym and gave these a shot to take over for them. The cushion on these is better for me and how I exercise. They worked well for lifting but also were comfortable in a variety of activities I did. I used them to go on walks with my wife and even tried them out as a lifestyle type of shoe as well. I’m a little wide footed and could feel the sides of the shoes but didn’t have any issues with them rubbing and could wear them for a long time. The material was nice and breathable for me, I liked the material over the Metcon 5’s that I typically wear. I was impressed with these and they made an excellent all around gym shoe for me. It wouldn’t replace my lifestyle shoes or my running/walking shoes but did perform well enough for a short run or walk. I will be using these in the gym moving forward and was pretty impressed with the overall abilities of these shoes.

Come on Nike give us some better colour options not these mismatch 3 way colour tones, the trainers look amazing yet the colour ways completely let them down they look like they belong in a festival not a serious gym. Can't I just have one colour like Grey or better still customize my own please ?
