Totally not what I was expecting

So I got my new sweater today and honestly I am disappointed because the fabric is very different than I thought! I thought it was gonna be a cotton mesh blend on the shinier side like a light sweathshirt! But it has more of the texture of a fog or rain jacket or workout shorts! The sleeves also change pattern and are thinner than the rest of the jacket
