The Jordan Essentials Statement Chicago Men’s Short should be a staple in all Jordan fan’s closets! These shorts have an elevated cargo short look to them without the traditional looking pockets. They can easily be dressed up or down depending on the occasion and the look you are going for. The black color is timeless and goes with just about any shirt. The fabric is appropriately stiff and holds its shape. The length hits perfectly right above the knee. There is a tie on the inside of the waistband, which is perfect to secure the shorts around the waist without needing a belt! This is one of my favorite features! The Jordan logo is subtle on one of the side pockets but still there to show off the brand. The best part of these shorts is the versatility. They are comfortable enough to be worn around the house while lounging but elevated enough to wear out to lunch or dinner with a tee or polo. Overall, they are an excellent everyday short and I highly recommend them to any Jordan fan!

I especially like the angular pocket design, which keeps the shorts from looking like typical cargo shorts. The shorts are meant to be oversized, but the fabric is very stiff with no stretch, so if you have a larger butt, thighs, or are in between sizes you might want to consider the larger size. The fabric feels like canvas and that is one thing I would change. I think this style of shorts is really nice, but a more comfortable fabric would make these five stars for me. Overall, the details in the shorts really make them feel high quality and like you could dress them up for a day time event or dress them down to hang out more casually. If don’t mind a stiffer fabric and are looking for quality, elevated shorts, then I would recommend this pair.

The material on these feel super durable. I am usually a medium in men’s shorts but these felt a little snug in the waist when sitting down. The length is great.
