Slipping and sliding

My son loved these shoes but they are not for basketball. Fashion maybe but not basketball. We bought these for him as his practice basketball shoes and he’s sliding all over the floor. He ONLY wears them on the court. By week two, during practice we saw him constantly wiping them off on the bottom, which shouldn’t be happening. He’s had them for about a month and I’m now searching for new practice shoes. Is there a way to get a replacement shoe? :-)
