So comfortable, but also very prone to tears (rips).
I really like how comfortable these shoes are. I like the minimalist design, but that might also be why I am giving these 3 stars. I initially bought a pair of these on sale, loved the feel, so I bought 2 more pairs to stock pile (they were being discontinued). Would give zero star if it is an option. If you look closely you will realize how terribly this is designed. You would be lucky if the parts that connect the shoelaces last for more than a month. Same goes for other models with the same design. DO NOT BUY!!!

Great "Barefoot" Running Shoe
I've been running in different designs of Nike Free since 2014. I credit the "barefoot" design for eliminating shin splints and plantar fasciitis problems caused by structured shoes. I can usually get a good year or two out of them before they wear out. The sole design is very stable on unpaved surfaces but prone to collecting small rocks which can be annoying. I'll keeping buying the Free.
