Manufacturing Defect: Spike housing

The entire HS team bought these. Every runner is now exchanging at various retailers (return within 30 days). The spike housings bent in every pair after 1-2 races. The specific housings on ball of foot and outside of foot are weak and compromised. We are scrambling to find 15 pairs of compatible size shoes before next race. This never happened with Dragonfly 1.

XC 2s is such an upgrade!! I currently race on gravel and sand and overall they work great, the zoomX foam and the updated plate makes this shoe bouncy and snappy, one complaint I have of the rubber durability but it makes sense that it was make for limited gravel and concrete/sand but a 9/10.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I owned the Dragonfly 1 and my only complaint was that it didn't have enough support for true cross-country racing. The second model fixed that, and while it is a little heavy, everything feels necessary and the materials are durable and effectively used.
