Nike works with a diverse community of some of the greatest partners in the world to help get our innovative shoes and gear into the hands, and onto the feet, of athletes. If you are interested in becoming a Nike-authorized retailer, please review the information below to determine if an application is your next step. In addition, if you already submitted an application, please review the information below to check on the application status or timeline. ## FAQs How does Nike select its authorized retailers? Applications are evaluated to meet rigorous standards. We are extremely selective, and only a small number of new retail partners are appointed each year. There is no specific business model or distribution requirement for applications, however you must have a valid business license (issued through your local government) for your application to be considered. I want to sell online, do I need to submit an application? Yes, it’s the same process. Please note, applications to sell Nike product on a digital marketplace such as Amazon or eBay will not be considered. Is there an application fee? There is no fee to apply to become a Nike-authorized retailer. How long does the application process take? Due to the high volume of applications we receive, the entire process can take up to 90 days*.* I have read the above and am ready to apply, what’s next? In order to reapply, you must wait one year from the date on your denial letter. Can former Nike-authorized retailers re-activate their account? We'll gladly consider applications from former partners. However once an authorized retailer account has been closed, we reserve the right to require a new application. Applications from former Nike-authorized retailers will be evaluated with the same rigor and criteria that's applied to new applications.
