The Nike Swim Goggles have a lower profile with curved, oversized lenses, optimizing your field of view when you're in the water. The soft, flexible gasket is engineered for comfort that doesn't jeopardize performance, while the Nike Swift Track nose bridge system lets you find a custom fit quickly and easily. The mirrored coating helps block UV rays and reduces glare, so you can see above and below the surface.

  • Comfy, Darrrk tint, and Maybe Right for you. . .

    Kuchma1561 - Oct 27, 2025

I swim between 3,500 to 5,500yds 4x per week and have done a few 5k and 10k open-water swims. Typically, I'll swim with a "magical" competitor's goggle, but we live in an imperfect world. So, the other day, I picked up a pair of these to take them for a test drive. Great lens shape that fit well on the ocular bones, so that's super important. Super-dark tint, and with the mirroring, you could stare directly into an eclipse(Noooo. Don't do that.). They have great peripheral angle of visibility. Think portal window versus balcony on a cruise ship. I would suggest a goggle strap with a little more stretch. Unfortunately, the goggles didn't work for me. I could see directly below and a little behind me just fine. However, it was the forward vision where I was blind. I swim head down and look forward by looking out the tops of my eyeballs. Maybe my cheek bones are less prominent or maybe my upper eyebrow bones are more prominent(Neanderthal) than other's. Either way, the front surface of the lens sloped backwards(further back at the bottom than at the top when looking at the front lens surface from the side). Had the lens face sloped forwards like the "magical" lenses do, then I would be able to see forward great. I'm not blaming the "Nike goggle scientists;" it's my mom's and dad's fault for making me the way I am. They may work great for you. If you're swimming in bright sun or welding, then these might be for you. They are comfy. Good luck with your effort. Regardless of the event: Work the start, swim it like a fifty, and don't breath. See YOU at the podium, 2nd place. You know where I'll be . . ;) Can't believe I'm not getting paid for this 24k review. . .
