• The nike Biker Short Review: Versatile gym shorts!

  Since these shorts were not my size, they were given to a female friend of mine so that this review will be written from her point of view. The Nike DriFit Universa 8in Shorts are made of a thick, durable material that provides reasonable tummy control. I am also a fan of the pockets on the sides and the placement of the logo. The color and design pattern are unique and match my style well. Although the material is of good quality, the thickness is also stiff and inflexible, making it uncomfortable for extended use. It is not very flexible, so it has a tighter fit. I suggest a size up for your regular size. Outside the gym, I found these shorts to be an excellent day-to-day errand running pair. Washing/laundry care was also straightforward, and the color did not fade after one wash. Overall, it is an excellent pair of shorts I would buy multiple of and wear regularly.

• Cardio Dream Come True

  I recently begin my fitness journey. As you know, wardrobe function can make or break your experience. These shorts rolled in the night before I was set to do cardio. I decided to get them a try. They were the most comfortable. I typically have to pull up my clothes at least 5 times during workout. With these, they didn’t scrunch up or anything and I didn’t have to pull them up. The shorts stayed in place. The texture was great. It was a true to size fit. It held my sweat in all the right places. My workout was 45 mins and it included push ups, burpees, running and all. • Ringing in the New Year in Style

  I purchased the Nike DriFit Universa 8 inch Shorts this past week to get ready to ring in New Year and start my workout journey. With some many different high rise shorts on the market, I decided to choose the Nike 8 inch DriFit shorts for a few reasons. The first being that these spandex shorts have an 8 inch seam and provided the right coverage on my legs in addition to the high rise over my lower stomach. The color I chose was black with a camo design because I thought it looked cool. Upon trying on the spandex shorts they slid on easily and were true to size (I'm a size medium). They were more comfortable than I thought and fabric on my stomach was soft and did a great job in reducing rolling, pinching and sliding of the shorts. Wearing the shorts to the gym for the first time, I felt comfortable and cool throughout my entire cardio workout. One of the favorite parts of the shorts were the pockets! There is a pocket on each side of the leg allowing me to store my iPhone and keys. My only gripe about the shorts are that sometimes the seams of the shorts can rub especially when riding a bike. They are great workout shorts however I would not recommend wearing them to a spin class. I look forward to wearing these shorts more often to the gym. It's been three wears since my purchase and the wash and hang drying keeps them in mint condition. I recommend these shorts to anyone who wants to look good while working out with an added bonus of pockets.
